Meet our Cambridge Team

Bethanie Ahmed
Registered Manager
Bethanie is Branch Manager at Greenwood Homecare Huntingdon and Cambridge and has over twenty years’ experience in health and social care. Bethanie manages new client referrals, care plans and recruitment, as well as getting out and about in the community to deliver care to clients.

Tom Chance
Director
Tom operates as Director across all three Greenwood Homecare branches. Tom primarily focuses on marketing and finance activities, but provides support in all shapes and sizes, and likes to see carers and clients out in the community.

Nina Roe
Head of Care Operations
As Head of Care Operations, Nina oversees the management and delivery of care in all three of our branches. She divides her time between Peterborough, Grantham and Cambridge, ensuring our care in each area meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Charlotte Holland
Care Coordinator
Charlotte provides hands on support to all of the care workers working in the community. She assists with care planning, and will shadow and support carers as they start work with us. She also helps with rostering and scheduling, and provides on-call support for any urgent issues.

Bethanie Ahmed
Registered Manager
Bethanie has worked in health and social care for twenty years and gained a wealth of experience in different caring roles before turning her hand to branch manager. Alongside her caring credentials, she holds a Level 5 qualification in Management in Health and Social Care.
Bethanie attributes her long career in care to all the different people she has met along the way and the rewarding feeling of knowing that you’ve helped someone else at the end of the day. She loves hearing all the amazing stories of the people she works with who have had such interesting lives.
Bethanie manages our Huntingdon branch, taking referrals from customers, conducting home visits to do an initial assessment and putting together care plans. Part of Bethanie’s role is to ensure that carers and clients are well-matched to create happy pairings.
Bethanie also oversees recruitment in Huntingdon, advertising new roles and then carrying out the interview and offer process. On top of that, she is still actively involved in delivering care where required.
Outside of work, Bethanie is kept on her toes by her staffie, Skyla, and enjoys taking her for walks along the river in her hometown in Cambridge.

Tom Chance
Director
Tom operates as Director across all three Greenwood Homecare branches. Tom primarily focuses on marketing and finance activities, but provides support in all shapes and sizes, and likes to see carers and clients out in the community.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family. His son was born in 2022 so is keeping him and his wife very busy. Tom also loves a game of tennis when he can find the time.

Nina Roe
Head of Care Operations
As Head of Care Operations, Nina oversees all three of Greenwood Homecare’s branches: Peterborough, Grantham and Huntingdon. She typically spends at least one day in each of our locations every week.
Nina’s main focus is on the management and delivery of care, ensuring that the branches are complying with regulations, that their growth is safe and dealing quickly with any issues that arise.
Nina has been with Greenwood since the very beginning in 2016, bringing business development expertise alongside 25 years’ experience in health and social care. Nina started working as a carer for people with learning disabilities when she was 17 and her career has taken her into social work and home care business management.
For Nina, the unknown element of working in care, where no two days are the same, is particularly rewarding. She loves the fact that you never know what you will be dealing with each day and that Greenwood is able to respond and support people at times of difficulty, often at short notice.
Outside of work, Nina has a very busy home life, with six people and a crazy dog to look after in her household! Nina’s daughter plays futsal – a type of football game played on a hard court – for England, so she is often here, there and everywhere supporting her in matches.
Testimonials

We have been really happy with Greenwood, the ladies are punctual, friendly and very caring with my mum. It gives us peace of mind as a family that Mum’s being looked after on the mornings we can’t help her.
